This package offers short and simple excerpts from children's literature for use in the classroom in grammar analysis. Using a template of the grammar symbols, the students trace the symbols above the words. Each selection is provided in triple-spaced form on its own page. The teacher uses the master set to provide work papers for each child.

Excerpts are carefully selected to be successfully analyzed using the first five grammatical symbols (article, adjective, noun, verb, and preposition). Answer keys (reduced size) are provided.
